In 2007 Carnoustie Golf Club will host what is arguably the greatest golf tournament in the world. The last being held at Carnoustie in 1999, made Paul Lawrie an Open Champion and included the memorable Jean Van Der Velde's 'Water Incident'. This giant links course is among the toughest and most demanding of the great seaside championship links of Britain.
